Week 6 FYP1

In this week, my research is about component that need to be used in smart energy meter. Firstly, smart energy energy need to control by microcontroller to give a signal from input to output. As i know about microcontroller is  a small computer on a single integrated circuit. In modern terminology, it is similar to, but less sophisticated than, a system on a chip or SoC; an SoC may include a microcontroller as one of its components. A microcontroller contains one or more CPUs (processor cores) along with memory and programmable input/output peripherals. Program memory in the form of ferroelectric RAM, NOR flash or OTP ROM is also often included on chip, as well as a small amount of RAM. Microcontrollers are designed for embedded applications, in contrast to the microprocessors used in personal computers or other general purpose applications consisting of various discrete chips. From my obervation about microcontroller , the arduino is very suitable with my project because arduino...

Week 5 , I make gantt chart to make sure my research about development smart energy will be organized and facilitate to my project. In addition, the giant chart also can be easy to identify about structure of progress in my final year project within development of smart energy meter . As a below my structure gantt chart has been conduct.

Week 4 FYP1

This week, Sir Saiful just registered my name and the title of the project under his supervision on the FYP website. I should be able to check the application status online once the supervisor approved my application. I have now officially under the supervision of Sir Saiful for my FYP.  As my supervisor, Sir Saiful will guide me in the project; recommend approaches, techniques and methods appropriate to achieve the project’s objectives.  A successful project needs to have the right steps and approaches for it to be success. I have came out with a block diagram showing the process and steps that I have to take
