Week 13 FYP1

Week 13, I am study about componet.

• Distribution board

A distribution board (DB) is electrical supply is distributed from within the house. The main supply cable comes into the board and  distributed to the breakers and from there to all the circuits to monitoring , power protection and cable management

• Relay

A Relay is a switch for electrically operated by an electromagnet. The electromagnet is activated with a low voltage, for example 5 volts from a microcontroller and it pulls a contact to make or break a high voltage circuit. The relay is disconnect and reconnect the power supply when microcontroller give a signal and can operate 5V from microcontroller to the VCC pin for active a relay. The relay capability is 10-250 and 125 V AC and 10A-30 and 28 V DC powerful enough to reconnect and disconnect supply which is 240V.

• Wi-fi Module

The wifi module that be choose is ESP 8266 because it can easily intergrated TCP/IP protocol stack can signal to any microcontroller and powerful enough on-board processing and storage capability that allows it to be integrated with the sensors and other application

• Sensor ACS 712

Sensor current flow is a fundamental requirement in a wide variety of applications including over-current protection circuits, battery chargers, switching mode power supplies, digital watt meters, programmable current sources and etc. This ACS721 current module is based on ACS712 sensor, which can accurately detect AC or DC current. The maximum AC or DC that can be detected can reach 30A, and the present current signal can be read via analog I / O port of Arduino
